Why oh why must my blogger change?

I was going to write about something else tonight (why I like Ubuntu) but I get to blogger and get the chance to try the blogger beta. That's cool I think, this is the new blogger thing so I'll give it a shot. So I start the login process and what do I find? That from now on I will be using my google log in.

Must they? No seriously, must everything be owned by some huge megacorp that owns everything else? Oh, I suppose it could be worse, it could be Yahoo!, or even worse than taht, Microsoft. But still....

Ubuntu....

My operating system of choice, Ubuntu Linux, is having (that would be the lead company, Conanical) an "Open Ububntu Week", where, well, I'll just paste the blurb in....
